Our unique story

Pania + Pepe are handcrafted Kiwiana keepsakes, depicting a Mama with her pepe. Pepe is wrapped in a weaved pikau and carried on Pania's back. Pania is a traditional peg doll, adorned with vintage NZ wool blankets, paua and greenstone inspired decoration, and feathers. She comes in traditional red or green colours, and  a big variety of retro bright colours, all sympathetically matched or contrasted against the NZ wool cloak. Designed and hand crafted in New Zealand, each piece is 14cm high, light and easy to post, with every design slightly different and unique.
